Thanks to countless supporters, volunteers, and donors, our friends at PACE Youth Programs had a successful charity event. Held at the beautiful Crystal Ballroom at the Rice, the event featured something for everyone, music by Jazz Saxophonist Kyle Turner, our luminescent honoree Helen George, and an amazing live auction.
Also, thanks to the incredible Gala Chairpersons Tami Pearson (our fearless leader!), Jean Kenney, and Terri Hudler-Hull for spearheading the event. When all was said and done, a RECORD BREAKING total of $125,000 was raised to continue the PACE mission to reach families of the incarcerated. For those who were unable to attend this year, we missed you and hope to see you at the PACE Youth Gala next year!
PACE is a nonprofit organization that works with Houston area youth who have been in the Juvenile Justice system or whose parents have been incarcerated. PACE provides counseling and support services and teaches essential life skills. By helping shape their attitudes and character at a young age, PACE teaches positive decision making, helping at-risk youth to become productive citizens.
