Rachael joined Waterman Steele Real Estate Advisors (WSREA) in 2020 as Vice President, where she specializes in advising and representing restaurant tenants throughout the Houston market and Texas. Rachael’s extensive knowledge in the market and excellent relationships with clients and peers are what drive her success. Her responsibilities are site selection, market analysis, and strategic growth initiatives for several national and local restaurant users and retailers.

A specialist in tenant representation, Rachael’s client portfolio includes Local Table ($4-5M), Smoothie King, L&L Hawaiian, Heartland Dental, and a variety of local and regional restaurant groups.
Prior to joining WSREA, Rachael was a member of the Leasing and Tenant Representation team for 10 years as Vice President at NewQuest Properties. She has considerable experience in handling all project types, from small strip centers to grocery-anchored shopping centers. In her first year as a broker at NewQuest, Rachael received the 2015 “Rookie of the Year” Award. Previously she has worked with clients such as L&L Hawaiian, Gyro King, Jimmy John’s, Sonic, LA Crawfish, Amazing Lash, Heartland Dental, and various other local and regional tenants.
Education & Affiliations
Rachael earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology from St. Edwards University. She is also an active member of the International Conference of Shopping Centers and Texas Restaurant Association, in addition, she serves on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Committee and is a licensed broker in the State of Texas.
As a native Texan, Rachael comes from a family of pitmasters carving themselves into the Houston craft barbecue scene. Most recently, the family won the People’s Choice award at the fifth annual Houston BBQ Throwdown at Saint Arnold Brewing Company, outplacing Houston’s famously known Killeen’s BBQ.
