Waterman Steele Real Estate Advisors announced today that Senior Vice President and Director of Hospitality Services Emily Durham has been named Partner.
Emily and her company, Restaurant Connections, joined Waterman Steele Real Estate Advisors in early 2015. She served as Senior Vice President and Director of Hospitality Services, providing strategic direction and management of the firm’s extensive portfolio of Restaurant and Hospitality Clients. Emily has spent her entire 25-year career in the restaurant industry in every capacity: Every level of Front and Back of the House Operations, Back Office Management, Operations and Strategic Consulting, and through her company founded in 2009, Real Estate Brokerage Services.
Emily’s clients include and have included many of Houston’s newest and freshest concepts, acclaimed chef-driven independents, and respected regional and national chains. Emily handles Tenant Representation through strategic site selection and market planning processes, Master Broker Services for National chains, as well as Owner Representation for the divestiture of Restaurant Assets and Entities, and Landlord Representation.
Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from New York Institute of Technology, and an MBA with honors from Rice University. She holds a real estate license in the State of Texas and is a member of ICSC. Like the rest of the team at Waterman Steele, being a part of, and contributing to, the community is one of Emily’s top priorities. She is on the Executive Board of Directors of The Greater Houston Restaurant Association and is on the Governing Board of Casa de Esperanza de Los Niño’s.
